Artistic Management Team

Tapiola Sinfonietta is independently responsible for its artistic planning. The orchestra does not have a chief conductor, and instead of a traditional conductor, the program planning is done by an artistic management team, which includes the intendant and two musician members elected from among the orchestra members. The programs of artistic partners and artists in residence are planned together with them.

The 2025–2026 season has been planned by flute principal Hanna Juutilainen, concertmaster Janne Nisonen, and intendant Maati Rehor. At the beginning of 2026, a new artistic management team took office, consisting of artistic director Rehor, French horn player Ilkka Hongisto, and concertmaster Jukka Rantamäki. Their term will last until the end of 2028.
