A Naked Explanation of the World is a performance exploring the art history of burlesque and the cultural power of undressing. It is a rollercoaster of emotions and ideas, in which the joy of bare skin and intimate sensitivity lead us to profound questions about humanity and moralism throughout history. Underground art and high culture join forces in a show where comedy, burlesque and classical music come together to form a mesmerisingly joyful whole. The Tapiola Sinfonietta’s Queer Festival provides the setting for the work’s world premiere.
The line-up features comedian Juuso Kekkonen and the stunning burlesque artists Armi Von Vep, Hasard le Sin, Lux Dodgy, Penislow Pallinowski and Sin D. Skye.
