For once, a performance whose very title says it all! The Most Terrible Christmas Songs is a tribute to the cruel flip side of Christmas, where mothers’ tears drip into burnt tarts as no one, once again, was happy with their presents. The Most Terrible Christmas Songs offers peer support for those whose hearts hold no Christmas wonderland, but instead a plum curd bowl shattered on the floor. Hosted by Antti Holma, the evening features brand‑new compositions to poems by, among others, Reino Leino and Sirsi Sunnas. To make sure the evening is not entirely terrible, the composers represent the very top tier in Finland – not to mention the singers. Bad Christmas!
