Espoon Tanssiopisto & Tapiola Sinfonietta: Snow Queen

Espoon Tanssiopisto and Tapiola Sinfonietta will present the ballet Snow Queen of Ilkka Kuusisto in January 2027.

Espoon Tanssiopisto and Tapiola Sinfonietta will present the ballet Snow Queen of Ilkka Kuusisto in January 2027. The ballet was originally created for the 10th anniversary of Virpi Wirlander’s ballet school in 1980.    

The ballet features talented students aged 8–19 from Espoon Tanssiopisto, specializing in ballet, contemporary dance, and jazz dance. The choreography is by teachers from the Espoon Tanssiopisto. The backdrop images and animations for the ballet are created by students from the Espoo School of arts.   

This unique Espoo collaboration is well worth seeing and experiencing.  

The performance is suitable for everyone ages 5 and up.
