“Of Mauri Kunnas’s countless characters, the most famous and beloved is, of course, Mr. Clutterbuck, a sweet and gentle soul who harbors an adventurer within, a hero of the night streets, a world traveler who appears in the most unexpected places.”
Tapiola Sinfonetta’s Mr. Clutterbuck children’s concert is a tribute to Mr. Clutterbuck, the most famous sleepwalker from Tassula created by Mauri Kunnas, who comes to life in the Tapiola Hall at the Espoo Cultural Center. We’ll also see other familiar characters from the Mr. Clutterbuck books on stage, such as Masa Marsu and Hurja Harri, so there are plenty of surprises, and action.
Marzi Nyman has composed wonderful new music for the concert that doesn’t just play; it leaps, flies, carries, and comforts.
The Mr. Clutterbuck concert is suitable for all ages, as it is an adventure for children and a gentle reminder for adults of the enchanting power of imagination.
Join us for Mr. Clutterbuck’s nighttime adventure, where reality and the world of dreams intertwine in a charming way.

Bad Christmas! Hosted by Antti Holma, the evening features brand‑new compositions to poems by, among others, Reino Leino and Sirsi Sunnas. To make sure the evening is not entirely terrible, the composers represent the very top tier in Finland – not to mention the singers.
