Tapiola Sinfonietta is the Espoo City Orchestra – a dynamic chamber orchestra of 44 musicians whose diverse repertoire ranges from classical music to interdisciplinary collaborations. As the Espoo City Orchestra, it also reaches audiences outside concert halls through its public outreach work. Founded in 1987, the orchestra has established itself as Finland's leading chamber orchestra and offers an inspiring working environment for music professionals. Tapiola Sinfonietta's artistic partners are cellist and conductor Nicolas Altstaedt, conductor Ryan Bancroft, and our long-standing artistic partner Marzi Nyman.
