Mozart and Wagner, two great masters of opera and vocal expression, two intepreters of the depths of the human psyche. The soloist is Matti Salminen, monarch of Finnish bass singers, whose repertoire includes such prominent roles as the betrayed King Marke in Tristan und Isolde. In Mozart’s concert aria, he is provided support by Panu Pärssinen, the Sinfonietta’s double bass.
About the Venue
The Tapiola Hall is the home of the Tapiola Sinfonietta. It is where the orchestra rehearses and gives most of its concerts. The hall with its elegant birch panelling seats 776.
