Ligeti’s Violin Concerto is a massive technical challenge for the soloist and a fascinating journey through soundscapes for the listener. IAt this time Tapiola Sinfonietta´s soloist is highly acclaimed violinist Ilya Gringolts.
The Jupiter Symphony is the opening instalment in the series of Mozart’s late symphonies in the 2017–2018 season. The conductor is Risto Joost from Estonia, whose career is steadily rising. He also conducts music by his compatriot Lepo Sumera.
About the Venue
The Tapiola Hall is the home of the Tapiola Sinfonietta. It is where the orchestra rehearses and gives most of its concerts. The hall with its elegant birch panelling seats 776.
