World premieres of works by Kimmo Hakola are always major events. In this new concerto, the relationship between violin and viola is interpreted by a married couple, Minna Pensola and Antti Tikkanen. The concerto is joined by Erwin Schulhoff’s early modern Serenade and Beethoven’s lucid Fourth Symphony.
About the Venue
The Tapiola Hall is the home of the Tapiola Sinfonietta. It is where the orchestra rehearses and gives most of its concerts. The hall with its elegant birch panelling seats 776.
